ADVICE TO DOCTOR:
The product consists of a freeze-dried preparation of viable IBD virus. The active ingredient is
suspended in a physiological buffer containing complex proteins derived from cow鈥檚 milk. In
susceptible individuals, exposure may cause allergy. The product contains no known viable microbes
other than the vaccine itself. There is no specific treatment for exposure to Vaxsafe IBD but the
literature records no problems to humans during use of this virus in the poultry industry.
