EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE: Eye or skin contact may result in irritation or buns. Skin irritation may occur upon
contact. Irritation of mucous membranes may result from inhalation of dust. Ingestion may cause burns of lips, mouth,
esophagus and stomach.
EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES: EYES: Immediately flush with large amount of water for at least 15
minutes. SKIN: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. Obtain medical attention if skin
irritation occurs. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult,
give oxygen and call a physician. INGESTION: If conscious, give plenty of water or milk. SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION
IN THE EVENT OF ANY ACCIDENTAL EXPOSURE TO THIS PRODUCT.

STABILITY: Stable
INCOMPATIBILITY (MATERIALS TO AVOID): Contact with strong oxidizing agents or alkalis. Water will generate heat
and fumes.
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: When heated to boiling point, fumes of SnO2 and SO2 are produced.
HAZARDOUS POLYMERIZATION: Will not occur.
CONDITIONS TO AVOID: None

SECTION VII - SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED: Sweep up spilled material. Place in corrosion
resistant container. Flush spill area with large volume of water. Neutralize, using soda ash or lime. May be injurious to
aquatic life if released to open waters.
WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD: Disposal of material, container, and washes must be in compliance with all federal, state
and local regulations.

SECTION VIII - SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION (SPECIFY TYPE): Use NIOSH/MSHA approved respirator for dust or fumes.
VENTILATION: Provide local exhaust as needed to control exposures to below TLV level.
PROTECTIVE GLOVES: Rubber or neoprene
EYE PROTECTION: Required for fumes, dust or heat
OTHER PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Acid-proof apron and boots recommended. An eyewash and emergency shower
should be readily available. Launder contaminated clothing before reuse.

SECTION IX - SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORING: Keep container tightly closed. Store in cool, dry area
away from heat or open flame. Do not drop onto or slide across sharp projections. Do not store on side. Avoid creasing or
impacting of side walls.
OTHER PRECAUTIONS: Do not get in eyes or allow to come n contact with skin. Wash thoroughly after handling. Wash
contaminated clothing before reuse. Do not reuse container for any purpose. Stannous Sulfate contains a small amount of
residual sulfuric acid and should be handled and stored accordingly. Aqueous solutions of stannous sulfate are acidic and
should be treated similarly to dilute sulfuric acid. Use only in corrosion-resistant vessels.
