Note: The acid components of this product are encapsulated within the natural graphite matrix. They do not pose a hazard
during normal use or handling.

This product is a pliable brick shape pillow used as a firestop in medium to large through-penetrations. When exposed to fire
or high temperatures above 150掳C, the intumescent part of this product will expand to seal around the penetrant(s) forming a
solid barrier to prevent the passage of smoke, fire, and fumes.

Irritation of the nose and throat may occur.

This product may cause irritation to the skin.
Ingestion
Product is not intended to be ingested or eaten. If this product is ingested, severe irritation of the gastrointestinal tract may
occur, and should be treated symptomatically. Seek medical attention.
Eyes
This product may cause irritation to the eyes.

First Aid: Inhalation
Remove to fresh air. If symptoms persist contact a physician.
First Aid: Skin
Wash exposed skin with soap and water. If irritation develops or persists, seek medical attention.
First Aid: Ingestion
Product is not intended to be ingested or eaten. If the material is swallowed, get immediate medical attention or advice -- Do
not induce vomiting.
First Aid: Eyes
Flush eyes with large amounts of water for 5-20 minutes. Contact a medical professional.

General Fire Hazards
There is no potential for spontaneous fire or explosion.
Hazardous Combustion Products
Carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and trace gases. Intumescent Strip: Thermal decomposition or combustion may produce
dense smoke, oxides of carbon, sulfur, nitrogen, and low molecular weight organic compounds. Material volume will increase
up to 200 times when exposed to intense heat, >150掳C.

Firefighters should wear full-face, self-contained breathing apparatus and impervious protective clothing. Firefighters should
