Environmental hazards Toxic to fish. Do not apply directly to water. Do not contaminate water by disposal of waste (spent tags).
Chronic effects on humans Unlikely from ear tag device. Physician: this product contains a cholinesterase inhibitor. If symptoms of
cholinesterase inhibition are present, atropine sulphate by injection is antidotal. 2/PAM is also antidotal
and may be administered, but only n conjunction with atropine.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS GENERALLY AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE: Exposure to cholinesterase
inhibitors should be restricted in persons with hemolytic anemia or pre-existing depression of
cholinesterase. Morphine is contraindicated in poisonings by organophosphates.
Acute effects on humans Symptoms of cholinesterase inhibition, headache, dizziness, blurred vision, pin-point pupils, nausea,
stomach cramps, muscle twitching can occur from organophosphate exposure.
