Section V 鈥? First Aid Measures

EYES: Flush eyes with plenty of water. Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes.
Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a physician if irritation
persists. SKIN: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. Seek medical attention if
irritation persists. INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. Drink 2-3 glasses of water. Contact physician for further
treatment.

POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS: Primary Route(s) of Entry: Eye, skin contact, inhalation of mist.
EYES: May cause mild, reversible eye irritation.
SKIN: May cause mild skin irritation. Repeated exposure may cause mild sensitization.
PROTECTIVE REQUIREMENTS:
WORK CLOTHING: Wear long-sleeved coveralls or uniform, cap, safety shoes and neoprene or impervious gloves.
EYE PROTECTION: Where potential of splashing exists, or contact with mist, protective goggles and face shield
should be worn. A source of clean water for flushing the eyes should be nearby.

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Carbon Dioxide, Dry Chemical, Foam or Water.
FIRE FIGHTING COMMENTS: Isolate fire area. Evacuate downwind residents and all areas where fire seriously
threatens the product containers. Wear full protective clothing including rubber boots, neoprene gloves and self-
contained breathing apparatus. Attempt to keep containers cool. Do no breathe or contact smoke or vapors. Contain
the run-off, if possible, for proper disposal.

Section VI - HANDLING AND STORAGE
GENERAL PROCEDURES: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Do not use or store near
heat, open flame or hot surfaces. Store in original containers only. Keep out of reach of children
and animals. Do Not Freeze. Always practice good hygiene when working with this or any
chemical.

Section VI - HANDLING AND STORAGE
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:
EYES AND FACE: For Mist exposure, wear chemical protective goggles, face shield or safety glasses.
RESPIRATORY: Avoid breathing mist or vapor. Use only with adequate ventilation or protective equipment. Apply
with wind to back, avoid standing in mist or spray.
GLOVES: Wear chemical protective gloves made of materials such as rubber or neoprene. Thoroughly wash the
outside of gloves with soap and water prior to removal. Inspect regularly for leaks.
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING: Depending upon concentrations encountered, wear coveralls or long-sleeved uniform
and head covering. Launder all work clothing before reuse (separately from household laundry).
WORK HYGIENIC PRACTICES: Clean water should be available for washing in case of eye or skin contamination.
Wash skin prior to eating, drinking or using tobacco. Shower at the end of the workday.
ENGINEERING CONTROLS: Use local exhaust at all process locations where dust may be emitted.

STORAGE AND HANDLING: Store in a cool, dry place and avoid excess heat. Store in original containers only.
Wash hands and other exposed skin surfaces prior to smoking or consuming food or beverages. Do not put concentrate
or dilute material into food or drink containers. Do not contaminate other pesticides, fertilizers, water, food or feed by
improper storage or disposal.
SPILL OR LEAK: Isolate and post spill area. Keep material out of streams and sewers. Contain and absorb spilled
material with a solid absorbent such as sand, cat litter, commercial clay or other suitable absorbent. Place in an
approved drum and dispose of material following the method outlined below under "Waste Disposal".
WASTE DISPOSAL: Because acceptable methods of disposal may vary by location and because regulatory
requirements may change, the appropriate regulatory agencies should be contacted prior to disposal. Steel containers
which contained these materials must be crushed and disposed of in a sanitary landfill. Do not cut or weld steel
containers.

Section V - Special Precautions
In case of a large spill or leak, contain liquid with sand or other noncombustible material, then place in clean container
for disposal. Wastes, including spills or rinsates, and leftover pesticide that cannot be used according to label
instructions must be disposed of according to applicable federal, state, or local procedures.
