SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF OVEREXPOSURE:

INHALATION: May cause irritation of the respiratory tract.

INGESTION: May cause irritation of the gastrointestinal tract, nausea, vomiting, headache,
thirst.

CHRONIC EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE: Dehydration, diarrhea, convulsions, paralysis,
hemolysis.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED BY OVEREXPOSURE: Dehydration, diarrhea.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID PROCEDURES:

INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing give artificial respiration and seek
medical attention.

EYE CONTACT: Flush with water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.

SKIN CONTACT: Wash with soap and water. If irritation persists or develops, seek medical
attention.

INGESTION: Seek medical attention or contact a poison control center immediately.

SECTION 6 - CONTROL AND PROTECTIVE MEASURES

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: A NIOSH-approved respirator should be used if ventilation is not
adequate.

PROTECTIVE GLOVES: Rubber.

EYE PROTECTION: Safety glasses or goggles.

VENTILATION: General room ventilation is normally adequate.

OTHER PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Appropriate laboratory apparel.

HYGIENIC WORK PRACTICES: Do not eat, drink or smoke near this material. Wash any
contaminated clothing before reuse. Avoid wearing contact lenses when working with this material due
to the possibility of increased severity of eye damage.

HANDLING PRECAUTIONS: Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Avoid breathing mist.

STORAGE PRECAUTIONS: Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated location in a tightly sealed container.

OTHER PRECAUTIONS: Containers, even those that have been emptied, will contain product
residue and vapors, and should be treated as if they were full.

SECTION 8 - SPILL AND DISPOSAL PROCEDURES

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE OF SPILL OR DISCHARGE: Wear all protective equipment
including: respirator, goggles, gloves. Mop up spillage with an absorbent material and place in a tight
container for later disposal. Avoid contamination of sewers, storm drains, surface waters and soils.
Wash thoroughly after handling and wash all clothing and protective equipment before reuse.

WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD: Dispose of in accordance with all applicable local, state, federal, and
environmental regulations.
