CHRONIC EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE: Ingestion of large doses can cause persistent vomiting and bloody
diarrhea. Deaths have followed overdosage with ipecac administered as an emetic.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED BY OVEREXPOSURE: Nausea, diarrhea, gastrointestinal upset.

OTHER PRECAUTIONS: Poisoning by anti-emetics and phenothiazine derivatives should be treated by prompt
gastric lavage rather than by an emetic. Ipecac syrup should NOT be used in patients in a state of coma or shock or in
patients who have ingested corrosive agents when the dangers from aspiration are greater than those of ingestion.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID PROCEDURES:

INHALATION: Remove from exposure. If not breathing give artificial respiration. Seek immediate medical
attention.

EYE CONTACT: Flush with water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.

SKIN CONTACT: Wash with soap and water. If irritation persists or develops seek medical attention.

INGESTION: Dilute by giving 2 glasses of water. Seek immediate medical attention or contact a poison
control center immediately.

SECTION 6 - CONTROL AND PROTECTIVE MEASURES

]RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: If working with large amounts a NIOSH-approved canister respirator or supplied
air respirator should be worn to avoid overexposure to fumes.

PROTECTIVE GLOVES: Rubber or latex.

EYE PROTECTION: Safety glasses with side shields or goggles.

VENTILATION: General room ventilation.

OTHER PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: None.

HYGIENIC WORK PRACTICES: Do not eat, drink or smoke near this material. Remove any contaminated clothing
and wash before reuse. Wash any exposed skin area with soap and water.
