HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION
Health Effects:-
Skin: Irritating to skin upon repeated or prolonged contact. Can cause sensitization or allergic reaction such as rash or
hives.
Eyes: Moderately irritating to eyes.

Inhaled: Vapour or mist is irritating to mucous membranes and respiratory system. Excessive inhalation can cause
headache, nausea, dizziness, or asphyxiation.
Swallowed: Can be harmful if swallowed.

Long Term Hazard: Overexposure to solvents can damage kidneys, liver and lungs.

First Aid:-
Skin: Wash affected area thoroughly with soap and water.

Eyes: Flush eyes immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.

Inhaled: Provide fresh air; give oxygen or artificial respiration if breathing laboured.

Swallowed: If swallowed dilute by giving two glasses of water to drink. DO NOT induce vomiting. Consult Physician or

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Personal Protection:-
Skin: Protective clothing. Gloves of neoprene or nitrile rubber-Industrial weight lined gauntlet recommended NZS
5812:1982 4.5.2(b).
Eyes: Solvent resistant safety eyewear with splash guards or side shields to prevent eye contact complying with AS/NZS
1337:1992. Refer to 'Eyes at Work' -OSH.
Breathing: Class AUS 1 half face respirator with type A organic vapour filter and class P1 particulate filter. Refer
AS/NZS 1715:1994, AS/NZS 1716:1994, 'A Guide to Respirators'- OSH

Other: Use in well ventilated area with explosion proof equipment. Mixed product contains hazards from both
components. Refer 'Practical Guide to Safe Use of Organic Solvents'- OSH
Ventilation: Sufficient ventilation , in volume and pattern, should be provided to keep air contaminant concentrations
below WES - TWA limits.
SAFE HANDLING INFORMATION
Storage and Transport:-

and contain spill with inert materials (eg sand). Transfer liquid to containers for recovery or disposal and solid
diking material to separate containers for disposal. Keep spills (and as much as possible cleaning runoffs) out of
municipal sewers and open bodies of water.

Disposal: Incinerate the liquid and contaminated diking material at a permitted facility, or otherwise dispose of in
accordance with all applicable regulations.
