                                             928 Series

                          2.8 VOC Polyurethane Topcoat



DESCRIPTION



The 928 Series is a premium 2.8 VOC polyurethane topcoat, which offers outstanding chemical

resistance while giving a premium gloss. This single stage paint system offers excellent coverage and

color holdout while having fast drying properties and ease of application. The 928 Series is compliant

with all applicable air regulations including SCAQMD Rule 1151.

MIXING RATIO



Mix three (3) parts 928 Series color with one (1) part H900 activator. May be reduced up to 25% with

S9860/9870/9885/9895 reducers for 3.5 VOC compliance. May be reduced up to 25% with

S065/075/085 to maintain 2.8 VOC. A566 accelerator may be used up to 2 ounces per gallon

(optional). A544 pot life extender may be used up to 4 ounces per gallon (optional).

1 hour minimum



CLEAN UP



Use NORTHSTAR Lacquer Thinner or zero VOC solvents. (Check local regulations.)

SURFACE PREPARATION



Use NORTHSTAR Cleanwipe (S10) to clean substrate free of grease, dirt, and foreign contaminants.





APPLICATION



    Apply 2 medium wet coats over substrate

    Allow 10-15 minutes between coats

鈥?

    Scuff after 24 hours before recoating

鈥?

    Clean gun after spraying is completed

鈥?
