cracking of the skin. Toxic effects may be delayed. Avoid handling when the skin is moist, wet or abraided.

Inhalation: Corrosive! Product may cause severe irritation of the nose, throat and respiratory tract. Repeated and/or prolonged
exposure may cause productive cough, running nose, bronchopneumonia, pulmonary edema, and reduction of pulmonary function.

Skin contact: Corrosive! Prolonged and repeated exposure to dilute solutions often causes irritation, redness, pain and drying and
cracking of the skin. Toxic effects may be delayed. Avoid handling when the skin is wet.

Eye contact: Extremely corrosive! This product causes corneal scarring and clouding. Glaucoma, cataracts and permanent
blindness may occur.

Ingestion: Corrosive! This product causes severe pain in the mouth, throat, and abdomen. Vomiting, diarrhea, and perforation of
the esophagus and stomach lining may occur. Prolonged or repeated exposure to this product can cause discoloration and erosion
of the teeth

Effects of chronic exposure:

Prolonged and repeated exposure to diluted solutions may cause irritating redness, pain, drying and cracking of the skin. Toxic
effects may be delayed. Avoid handling when the skin is moist, wet or abraided.

SECTION IV: FIRST AID MEASURES
Skin contact: Prompt removal of the material from the skin is necessary. Remove all contaminated clothing and immediately
wash the exposed area with copious amounts of water for a minimum of 30 minutes. Obtain medical attention immediately. While
the patient is being transported to a medical facility, apply compresses of ice water. If medical assistance is delayed, submerge the
effected areas in ice water. Avoid prolonged submersion for risk of frostbite. Avoid freezing tissue.

Eye contact: Immediately flush eyes with running water for a minimum of 30 minutes. Hold eyelids open during flushing. Do not
transport victim until recommended flushing period is completed, unless flushing can be done while in motion.

Inhalation: Move victim to fresh air. Give CPR If necessary. Oxygen administration may be beneficial. Seek medical attention
immediately

Ingestion: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Immediately contact Poison Control Center. If victim is alert and not convulsing,
rinse mouth out and give 2-3 glasses of milk. If vomiting occurs naturally, lean victim ahead to avoid breathing in of vomitus. Do
not give anything by mouth to a person that is unconscious. Seek immediate medical attention IMMEDIATELY.

SECTION VI: FIRE AND EXPLOSION DATA
Conditions of flammability: Avoid direct contact of this product with water as this can cause a violent exothermic reaction.
Closed containers exposed to heat may explode. Reacts with most metals to produce hydrogen gas which could make an explosive
mixture with air. Hydrogen Sulphide is extremely toxic. Hydrogen Sulphide deadens the sense of smell. A means of detecting its
presence should be available. Installation of a continuous monitoring system is recommended.

Means of extinguishing: Dry chemical, carbon dioxide, foam, water fog.

Flash point: 25掳C (Estimated).

Upper flammable limit: 36.5% (Estimated).

Lower flammable limit: 5.5% (Estimated).

Auto-ignition temperature: 465掳C (Estimated).

Hazardous combustion products: Thermal decomposition products are toxic and may include formaldehyde, hydrogen sulphide,
carbons of oxide, sulphur and irritating gases.

Explosion data-sensitivity to mechanical impact: Not expected

Explosion data-sensitivity to static discharge: Not available

SECTION VII: REACTIVITY DATA
Chemically unstable (conditions): Stable

Product incompatible with: Strong oxidizers, reducing agents. Strong bases. Combustibles. Metals. Alkali metals and their
hydroxides. Organic materials. Titanium. Cyanides. Sulphides. Finely divided metals. Copper and its alloys. Cast iron. Mild steel.
Attack some types of rubber, plastics and coatings.

Conditions of reactivity: Conditions to avoid are high temperatures, open flames, and all other sources of ignition.

Hazardous decomposition products: Thermal decomposition products are toxic and may include formaldehyde, hydrogen
sulfide, oxides of carbon, sulphur and irritating gases.

SECTION VIII: PREVENTATIVE MEASURES
Personal protective equipment: Chemical resistant clothing is recommended including glove, apron and goggles. DO NOT USE
gloves or protective clothing made from natural rubber, neoprene, nitrile rubber, and polyvinyl alcohol. Safety shower and eye
wash station should be near by. Recommend NIOSH approved full-face respirator equipped with acid gas, dust, mist, fume, and
organic vapour cartridges for concentrations up to 10 mg/m鲁 or 200ppm. Use supplied air if concentration exceeds 10 mg/m鲁 or
200ppm.

Specific engineering controls: Provide mechanical ventilation to prevent dust concentrations, and to reduce potential
exposure. Should be explosion proof. Ventilate low lying areas.

Procedures for leak/spills: Small spills: soak up with absorbent material. Large spills: dike to contain spill to prevent water
pollution. Water will cause extreme slipperiness. Return recovered material to plant.

Waste disposal: All waste should be disposed of according to Federal, Provincial and local regulations. Containers should NOT
be reused. Containers should be disposed of in accordance with government regulations.

Handling procedures and equipment: Avoid ingestion. Practice reasonable caution and personal cleanliness. Avoid skin and
eye contact.

Storage requirements: Store in a cool well-ventilated area. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Keep containers closed. Do
not expose sealed containers to temperatures above 40oC. Avoid moisture contamination. Protect from direct sunlight. Protect
against physical damage.

Special shipping information: Not applicable
