SECTION VI: FIRE AND EXPLOSION DATA
Conditions of flammability: Dust clouds in air can create explosive mixtures in the presence of an ignition source. Product will
burn when in contact with a flame. Self extinguishes when ignition source is removed. Tends to smoulder.
Means of extinguishing: Use CO2, water spray, dry chemical or foam extinguisher.
Flash point: Not applicable
Upper flammable limit: Not applicable
Lower flammable limit: Not applicable
Auto-ignition temperature: Not applicable
Hazardous combustion products: Not applicable
Explosion data-sensitivity to mechanical impact: Not applicable
Explosion data-sensitivity to static discharge: Not applicable
SECTION VII: REACTIVITY DATA
Chemically unstable (conditions): Stable.
Product incompatible with: Strong oxidizing agents. Avoid creating dust clouds.
Conditions of reactivity: Strong oxidizing agents
Hazardous decomposition products: Thermal decomposition produces oxides of carbon.

SECTION VIII: PREVENTATIVE MEASURES
Personal protective equipment:
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Dust masks recommended.
PROTECTIVE GLOVES: Suggest impervious gloves.
EYE PROTECTION: Safety glasses or goggles for dusty environments.
OTHER PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT : Ensure eyewash station and emergency shower are available.
Specific engineering controls: General mechanical ventilation sufficient for normal conditions
Procedures for leak/spills: Use appropriate protective equipment. Avoid creating dust clouds. Sweep up or vacuum to collect.
Collect uncontaminated material for repackaging. Collect contaminated material in an approved container for disposal. Wet
material will be extremely slippery. Thoroughly flush wet material with water until non-slippery.
Waste disposal: Dispose/landfill in accordance with federal, provincial and local regulations. Uncontaminated material is
suitable for landfill disposal in most locations. Check with local operator. It is the responsibility of the end-user to determine if
material meets the criteria of hazardous waste at the time of disposal.
Handling procedures and equipment: Avoid dust formation. Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation in places where dust is
formed. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Avoid conditions that generate airborne dust in
handling, transfer and clean-up. Product may form combustible dust-air mixtures. Keep away from heat, flame, sparks and other
ignition sources. Avoid emptying package in, or near, flammable vapors. Static charges may cause flash fire. Remove material
from eyes, skin and clothing. Launder contaminated clothing before reuse. Store in a cool, dry area away from oxidizers..
Storage requirements: Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. To maintain best product performance, store in a cool, dry
place.
Special shipping information: Not applicable
