SECTION IV: FIRST AID MEASURES
Skin contact: Wash affected area with soap and water for at least 15 minutes. Remove and clean contaminated clothing. Seek
medical attention if irritation develops or persists.

Eye contact: Flush with water immediately for at least 20 minutes by holding eye open while flushing. If irritation persists,
repeat flushing. Seek immediate medical attention.

Inhalation: Remove victim from area to fresh air. Apply artificial respiration if breathing has stopped. If difficulty breathing,
administer oxygen. Seek immediate medical attention.

Ingestion: Swallowing methanol is life threatening. Do not induce vomiting unless directed to by a physician. Never give
anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth out and give 陆 to 1 glass of water to dilute material. If spontaneous
vomiting occurs, have victim lean forward with head down to avoid breathing in of vomitus, rinse mouth and administer more
water. Seek immediate medical aid and immediately contact poison control centre.

SECTION VIII: PREVENTATIVE MEASURES
Personal protective equipment: Safety glasses with side shields are recommended to prevent eye contact. Use chemical safety
goggles when there is potential for eye contact. Contact lenses should not be worn when working with this material. Gloves and
protective clothing made from butyl rubber, viton, natural rubber or neoprene should be impervious under conditions of use. A
NIOSH/MESA approved full face piece air-purifying respirator equipped with dust, mist, fume, ammonia or organic vapour
cartridges for concentrations up to 200 ppm.

Specific engineering controls: Local exhaust ventilation is recommended for controlled products. The use of mechanical
ventilation is recommended whenever this product is used in a confined space or when air circulation is inadequate. All
equipment should be explosion proof.

Procedures for leak/spills: Extremely flammable liquid. Eliminate all ignition sources, stop spill and use absorbent materials. If
necessary, contain spill by diking. Maximize recovery for recycling or reuse if applicable. Collect liquid with explosion proof
pumps. For small spill, collect with a non-combustible sorbent. Recover or dilute with water to reduce fire hazard. Do not allow
product to enter sewers or stormwater inlets.

Waste disposal: It is the responsibility of the user of this product to determine at the time of disposal whether product meets
criteria for hazardous waste. This is because product use, transformations, processes, mixtures, etc., may render a nonhazardous
material hazardous, or a hazardous material nonhazardous.Empty container contains product residue. Containers must be rinsed
before disposal or reuse. Observe all hazard precautions. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Do not weld or use a cutting
torch on or near container. Do not distribute, make available, furnish or reuse empty container except for storage and shipment of
original product. Remove all hazardous product residue and puncture or otherwise destroy empty container before disposal.

Handling procedures and equipment: Do not ship with foodstuff, feed or clothing. Avoid inhalation of vapours/mists. Do not
get on skin, in eyes or on clothing. Keep container closed when not in use. Wear suitable protection for eyes and skin when
handling. Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with incompatible materials.

Storage requirements: Store in cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Eye wash and safety showers should be easily accessible and in
proper operating order. Ventilation should be explosion proof.

Special shipping information: Materials of construction for storing the product include: plastics. Aluminum and its alloys should
not be used in equipment for storage, handling or transportation. Confirm suitability of any material before using.
