                      Addition Cure Silicone Adhesive Elastomer



Product Description



       QSil 601 is a 2-part, addition cure silicone elastomer that has excellent

adhesion to a wide variety of substrates, including glass, polycarbonate and acrylic,

when used with QSil Primer #5.

Adhesion 鈥? Ensure that the surface is clean and free of any foreign substances. For

best results, clean the surface of the substrate to be adhered to with a suitable solvent.

Mixing



       Thoroughly mix both A and B components prior to mixing together. Use of

mixing equipment is recommended for this grade.



Mixing by hand



      Combine 10 parts of A and 1 part of B component by weight and stir until

completely mixed. Use care when mixing to minimize air entrapment.



Mixing and dispensing with automatic equipment



       Use properly ratioed equipment for a 10:1 mix ratio. Also use a mixing

system that will properly mix A and B components. Once mixed properly the

material will have a pot life of approximately 90 minutes.



Storage and Shelf Life



        QSil 601 should be stored in the original unopened containers at 25C (77F). It

will remain useful for a period of 6 months if stored under those conditions.
