Ingestion Causes gastrointestinal irritation with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
Signs and Symptoms of Exposure Chronic overexposure can lead to "iodism", a mild toxic
syndrome, with symptoms of salivation, nasal discharge, sneezing, conjunctivitis, fever,
laryngitis, bronchitis, stomatits, and various skin rashes.

Inhalation Remove to fresh air immediately. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If
breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical aid if cough or other symptoms appear.

removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical attention if irritation persists.
