3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

Eyes: May cause slight irritation.
Skin: Prolonged or repeated contact may cause irritation.
Inhalation: May cause upper respiratory tract irritation. May cause nausea or dizziness. Excessive breathing of high vapor
concentration can cause central nervous system depression, liver, and kidney damage.
Ingestion: Acute gastrointestinal tract irritation.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES

Eyes: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while holding eyelids open. Call a physician or poison center
immediately.
Skin: Wash skin with waterless hand cleaner followed by soap and water. If redness appears treat it as a sunburn, if redness persists
or rash appears call a physician or poison center immediately.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air, upwind from fume source. If irritation persists, call a physician or poison center immediately.
If Swallowed: DO NOT induce vomiting. Prevent aspiration into lungs. Even a small amount into lungs may result in aspiration
pneumonitis. Call a physician or poison center immediately.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Flash Point (TCC): 100掳F/38掳C Explosive Limits: Lower (LEL): ND Upper (UEL): ND
Flame Projection (Aerosol): NA
Hazardous Products of Combustion: When strongly heated, as in a fire, this product may produce oxides of carbon and various
hydrocarbon fragments.
Fire and Explosion Hazards: Closed containers may explode in a fire. Keep containers cool and remove to a safe location.
Extinguishing Media: Class 鈥淏鈥? dry chemical, carbon dioxide, or other suitable extinguishing material such as dry sand. Do not use
halogenated agents. When flames have been eliminated, cover residue with dry sand or dry extinguishing agent until it has cooled. If fire
appears to increase in intensity switch to applying Class 鈥淒鈥? extinguishing agent or more dry, inert, granular material.
Fire Fighting Instructions: Firefighters should wear self-contained breathing apparatus w/full protective clothing.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Small Spills: Soak up with an inert absorbent like clay, oil dry, sand, earth, etc. to absorb the spill. Put material into a suitable steel
drum which can be closed securely.
Large Spills: Contain spill as quickly as possible. Remove sources of ignition and keep flowing material away from heat, sparks, or
open flames. Do not smoke near a spill. Use an inert absorbent like clay, oil dry, sand, earth, etc. to absorb the spill. Put material into a
suitable steel drum which can be closed securely.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area way from sources of ignition. Solvent vapors are heavier than air and may be moved from the
source location by ventilation systems to points far away. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use. Do not store near oxidizers.
Maintain package labeling during storage.

8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION

Eyes: Safety glasses recommended.
Skin: Chemical resistant gloves recommended.
Respiratory: None required if good ventilation is maintained. If airborne concentrations are above the TLV use NIOSDH approved
respirator for organic vapor and dusts.
Engineering Controls: Mechanical ventilation recommended when handling in enclosed/tight spaces.
