LD50 (rats oral): N/A
ED50: N/A
Sodium hypochlorite has been shown to produce damage to genetic material when tested in vitro. Studies in vivo
have shown no evidence of mutagenic potential for this material. Chemicals potent with biocidal activity,
typical hypochlorite compounds, may comprise the integrity of many of the treated cells which remain viable
during an in vitro assay. It is judged that the risk of genetic damage is insignificant for sodium hypochlorite
because of its biocidal activity, lack of mutogencicity in vivo, and failure to produce a carcinogenic response.

SECTION XII - ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
N/A

SECTION XIII - DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS
Waste Disposal Method: DISPOSAL IS TO BE PERFORMED IN COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL, STATE
AND LOCAL REGULATIONS.

SECTION XIV - TRANSPORT INFORMATION
DOT Classification: This material is regulated by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
