decomposing material or the decomposing material can be isolated and allowed to be consumed.
Special Fire Fighting Procedures: Firefighters and others subjected to products of decomposition should wear full
protective clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus. Use NIOSH/MSHA approved self-contained breathing
apparatus in areas where this material is involved in a fire. Chlorine-containing gases with traces of phosgene can e
liberated at temperatures in excess of 400掳F.
Unusual Fire Hazards: Nitrogen trichloride can be generated by reaction of water on this product under certain
conditions.
Incompatibility (Materials to Avoid): Do not mix with acidic products. Also avoid contact with easily oxidizable
organic material: ammonia, urea or similar nitrogen-containing compounds, inorganic reducing compounds, calcium
hypochlorite and alkalis.
