EPON鈩? Resin Systems: Meeting the
Requirements of MIL-R-9300B

In order to facilitate materials selection for specific applications, a number of EPON鈩? Resin
Introduction
and EPIKURE鈩? Curing Agent products, have been tested in accordance with the requirements
of the military specification MIL-R-9300B. Test results show that these resin systems, when
used in accordance with the appropriate choice of materials, good workmanship and
manufacturing practices, can meet the performance requirements as described in
MIL-R-9300B.

Glass-reinforced laminates were manufactured using the resin systems listed in Table 1. Test
data were generated according to the requirements of the specification; the test results are
summarized in Table 2 and Table 3. These data are intended to provide guidance in selection
of an appropriate resin system for use in the manufacture of a laminate meeting the require-
ments of MIL-R-9300B. These data should NOT be used in lieu of quality control testing by the
manufacturer of the finished article. The data are considered accurate but are furnished upon
the express condition the customer shall make its own assessment to determine its suitability
for a particular purpose.
