3 HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
Emergency Overview
No health damages are to be expected if product is used appropriately, properly and according to its designation.

Potential Health Effects, Skin
Possible effects in case of overexposure: skin resorption

Potential Health Effects, Eye
Possible effects in case of overexposure: irritations of eyes and mucous membranes

Potential Health Effects, Inhalation
Prolonged or repeated inhalation may affect the nervous system and cause kidney and liver complaints. Prolonged or
repeated exposure may result in sensitization. Sensitized persons may show asthmatic symptoms when exposed to
atmospheric concentrations well below the exposure limits.

Signs & Symptoms of Short-Term (Acute) Exposure
Harmful by inhalation and in contact with skin. Isocyanate containing products are a potential irritant to eyes, skin and
respiratory tract. Effects may be delayed for several hours.

Effects of Long-Term (Chronic) Exposure
Exposure may aggravate asthma, allergies, chronic or recurrent respiratory disease.

4 FIRST AID MEASURES
Skin
Wash affected areas with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing.

Eye
Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Take to a physician for medical treatment.

Inhalation
Remove to fresh air and keep warm. Get medical attention if irritation occurs or breathing becomes difficult.

Ingestion
Do not induce vomiting. Get immediate medical attention.

5 FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Hazardous Combustion Products
In contact with water product will generate carbon dioxide. Pressure build-up in closed containers due to humidity.

Extinguishing Media
Chemical powder, foam, carbon dioxide

Basic Fire Fighting Procedures
Full protective equipment including self contained breathing apparatus should be used. Water may be used to cool tightly
closed containers to prevent pressure build-up due to extreme heat.

Unusual Fire & Explosion Hazards
In contact with water product will generate carbon dioxide. Avoid heat, open flames, static electricity, electrical equipment
and sparks. Closed contianers may explode when exposed to extreme heat. Application to hot surfaces requires special
precautions.

6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Emergency Action
Remove sources of ignition. Ventilate area.

Environmental Precautions
Dispose of or incinerate in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.

Spill or Leak Procedure
Remove sources of ignition. Ventilate area. Remove by using suitable inert liquid absorbing material, e.g. kieselgur. The
contaminated area should be cleaned up immediately with a suitable decontaminant (5% sodium carbonate + 95% water or
50% Isopropyl alcohol + 5% conc. ammonia solution + 45% water). Add the same decontaminant to the remnants and let
stand for several days until no further reaction in non-sealed container. Residues in empty containers should be neutralized
with decontaminant (as described above).

not be employed in any process in which this preparation is used. Use only in well ventilated areas. Do not breathe vapor.
Do not eat, drink or smoke in areas of use or storage. Keep away from all sources of ignition. Keep container tightly closed.
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.

Storage
Keep container tightly closed when not in use and during transport.

Ventilation
Use only with ventilation sufficient to prevent exceeding recommended exposure limit or buildup of explosive concentrations
of vapor in air. No smoking, or use of flame or other ignition sources.

8 EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION
Engineering Controls
Use and store with adequate ventilation.

Eye Protection: Personal Protection Equipments (PPE)
Wear chemical safety goggles.

Skin Protection: Personal Protection Equipments (PPE)
Protective gloves. An apron should be worn to avoid skin contact.

Respiratory Protection: Personal Protection Equipments (PPE)
If TLV or PEL of one hazardous component is exceeded, use approved combination of charcoal filter and particulate filter
mask or airfed respirators. Its use must be in compliance with all OSHA health and fit testing requirements. Its use must be
in compliance with all OSHA health and fit testing requirements. Use respiratory protection when spray painting.

General
Wash hands thoroughly before eating, drinking, smoking, or using toilet facilities. Use re-greasing skin cream. Do not eat,
drink or smoke during handling. Wear protective equipment.
