DESICLEAN 1000 is a water-miscible, vegetable oil-based cleaner/degreaser.
DESICLEAN 1000 does not contain chlorinated additives, phosphates, diethanolamine,
nitrites and/or nitrates releasing agents, heavy metals, PBC or dioxin related
substances.

3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

Emergency Overview
Liquid, amber color
May cause irritation to the eyes, skin and respiratory system.

Health Effects: Eyes
This product may cause irritation to the eyes.
Health Effects: Skin
Prolonged and/or repeated contact may cause irritation and redness.
Health Effects: Inhalation
Inhalation of vapors of mists of the product may be irritating to the
respiratory system.
Health Effects: Ingestion
Ingestion of large amount may produce gastrointestinal disturbances
including irritation, nausea and diarrhea.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES
Eyes
Immediately flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes while holding eyelids
open. If irritation persists get medical attention.
Skin
For skin contact flush with large amount of water. If irritation persists, get
medical attention.
Inhalation
If symptoms are experienced, remove source of contamination or remove victim
to fresh air. If symptoms persist, get medical attention. If the affected person is
not breathing, apply artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen and

seek medical attention.
Ingestion
If ingestion of a large amount does occur, seek medical attention. Do not induce
vomiting.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

Fire Fighting Equipment / Instruction
Fire fighters should wear full fire-fighting turn-out gear ( full Bunker gear ) including
NIOSH-approved self-contained breathing apparatus with full face piece operated
in the pressure demand or other positive pressure mode.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASED MEASURES
Spill and Leak Procedures

Emergency Action:
Isolate spill or leak area immediately. Keep unauthorized personnel away. Stay
upwind. Keep out of low areas. Ventilate closed spaces before entering.
Do not touch or walk through spilled material. Wear appropriate personal
protective equipment during clean up.
Small Spills:
Absorb with earth, sand or other non-combustible material and transfer to
containers for later disposal.
Large Spills:
Dike ahead of liquid spill for later disposal.

Surface may become slippery after spillage.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Handling
- Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Use proper protective
equipment. ( See 3. Hazardous Identification )
- Avoid breathing mist or vapor. Use only in a well ventilated area.
- Unvented containers may develop pressure. Open with caution.
- Wash thoroughly after handling.
- Eyewash stations and safety showers should be easily accessible to
areas where product is used.
Storage
Keep containers closed when not in use.

Personal Protective Equipment
Eyes and Face: Face shield with safety glasses or chemical safety goggles.
Skin: Rubber or neoprene gloves. Wear additional protective clothing as
appropriate to protect skin. Chemical resistant apron or other impervious
clothing.
Respiratory: None required under normal conditions of use.

No special requirements. If user operations generate dust, fumes, or mist, use
ventilation as necessary to keep exposure to airborne contaminants below the
exposure limits.

Eye: Contact with liquid or mist can cause severe eye irritation or injury.
Dermal: This product is expected to be a skin irritant based on the data available
for specific components. A prolonged single exposure can produce
moderate to severe skin irritation. This product is not expected to be
dermally toxic.
Inhalation: This product is not expected to be acutely toxic by inhalation.
Oral: Although this product may be harmful if swallowed, the primary components
of this product are not considered to be orally toxic as defined in
29 CFR 1910.1200 Appendix A (OSHA HCS).
