SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE/MEDICAL CONDITIONS
AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE:
The protein components (BSA, ovalbumin, antibodies, etc.) of
the laminated strips may cause allergic reaction after
repeated exposure (symptoms may include hay fever, asthma
and tightness of the chest).

First Aid
INHALATION: N/A
SKIN CONTACT:
The buffer material is not likely to be hazardous by
skin contact, however, cleansing the skin after use
is advisable. The animal proteins and dried reagents
absorbed into the plastic and fiber components are very
unlikely to be hazardous by skin contact, but cleansing
the skin after use is advisable.
EYE CONTACT:
In case of contact with buffer, immediately flush eyes
with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes.
Call a physician.
INGESTION:
Ingestion of small amounts of buffer should not be toxic,
however, a physician should be immediately contacted. The
animal proteins and dried reagents absorbed into the plastic
and fiber components are very unlikely to be ingested or be
hazardous by ingestion, however, a physician should be
consulted should ingestion occur.
