artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen.
Call a physician.
SKIN CONTACT
Flush skin with water after contact. Wash contaminated clothing
before reuse.
EYE CONTACT
In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water
for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician.
INGESTION
If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Immediately give 2 glasses
of water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Call a physician.

TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Animal Data
Inhalation LC50 (rat): >1021 but <5440 ppm
Dermal LD50 (rabbits): >2 mL/kg
Oral LD50 (rat): 490 mg/kg
An oral TDLo in the rat has been established at 13,640
mg/kg/13 W-I. Literature references indicate that this
material is essentially non-irritating to the skin of
6405FR DuPont Page 5
Material Safety Data Sheet
(TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION - Continued)
rabbits and minimally irritating to the eyes of rabbits.
The inhalation LC50 in the rat has been determined to be
between 1021 ppm and 5440 ppm (nominal concentrations). At
1021 ppm none of the rats died after 7 hours of exposure.
At 5440 ppm all of the rats died after four hours of
exposure.
Dosages of 1, 5, and 10 ppm for six hours, five days a week
produced no observable adverse effects.
In 90 day studies of doses of 0, 1, 5, 10, 25, 75 and 225
ppm in rats exposed 6 hours/day, 5 days/week, microscopic
lesions were found in the liver and heart at the 225 ppm
dose level. Multifocal/focal myofiber degeneration necrosis
with adjacent chronic myocarditis in the heart and
multifocal single-cell necrosis in the liver parenchyma were
observed.
Other acute and chronic health hazards, as well as target
organs, are unknown.
