3 HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

   Signs & Symptoms of Short-Term (Acute) Exposure

   Dizzy feeling, headache, reddening of the skin, irritation of the eyes and respiratory tract. Isocyanate vapors or mist at

   concentrations above TLV can irritate the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract. Persons with hyperactivity may have

   asthmatic attacks. High concentrations may lead to bronchitis, bronchial spasm and pulmonary edema.



   Effects of Long-Term (Chronic) Exposure

   Chronic inhalation (overexposures) or single overexposure may cause isocyanate sensitization. Xylene vapors may cause

   defects of liver and kidneys when overexposed.

6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

   Spill or Leak Procedure

   Remove sources of ignition. Ventilate area. Remove with liquid binding material. Contain and collect spillage with

   non-combustible absorbent materials, e.g. sand, earth, vermiculite, diatomaceous earth and place in container for disposal

   according to local regulations.

   Handling

   Use only with skin and eye protection. When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Use with adequate ventilation. Isocyanate

   reacts with water to form CO2 with danger of rupture of the closed container. Keep containers tightly closed and upright

   when not in use.

   Store in a cool, dry area away from heat and incompatibles.
