3 HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
Potential Health Effects, Skin
May cause irritation with prolonged or repeated contact. Absorption may occur through skin. Avoid and minimize contact
by maintaining high standards of industrial hygiene.

Potential Health Effects, Eye
May cause eye irritation.

Potential Health Effects, Inhalation
Overexposure to high concentrations of vapor may cause respiratory tract irritation and may affect the brain or nervous
system, causing dizziness, headache, nausea or narcosis.

Signs & Symptoms of Short-Term (Acute) Exposure
Drowsiness, dizziness, nausea or skin irritation.

Effects of Long-Term (Chronic) Exposure
Prolonged or repeated overexposure may cause impaired lung function, blood disorders, liver and kidney damage. Reports
have associated repeated or prolonged overexposure to solvents with brain damage and nervous system damage.
Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents may be harmful or fatal. Lead Chromate is
suspect of carcinogenic potential per the ACGIH. However, recent studies show that it has little or no carcinogenic
potential. Repeated exposure through ingestion, inhalation of airborne particulates, and to a much lesser degree, skin
absorption, may cause adverse effects on blood, gastrointestinal, nervous and reproductive systems.

4 FIRST AID MEASURES
Skin
Wash immediately with large quantities of water and mild soap. If irritation, or other effects, persist, seek immediate
medical attention.

Eye
Flush with large quantities of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek immediate medical assistance.

Inhalation
If breathing difficulties, dizziness or lightheadedness occur due to overexposure, remove person from exposure. If breathing
is difficult, give oxygen. If breathing stops, begin artificial respiration. Seek immediate medical aid.

Ingestion
Contact a physician immediately.

Medical Conditions Aggravated by Exposure
Pre-existing eye, skin, respiratory, kidney and liver disorders.

5 FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Hazardous Combustion Products
Thermal decomposition may yield CO, CO2 and other toxic fumes.

Extinguishing Media
Foam, co2, dry chemical, water spray.

Basic Fire Fighting Procedures
Use self-contained breathing apparatus. Water may be unsuitable as an extinguishing media, but helpful in keeping
adjacent containers cool. Avoid spreading burning material with water used for cooling.

Unusual Fire & Explosion Hazards
With the presence of ignitable materials, keep work areas free of hot metal surfaces and other sources of ignition.

6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Spill or Leak Procedure
With the presence of ignitable materials, avoid hot metal surfaces and other sources of ignition. Avoid overexposure. Spill
should be contained with inert material, and gathered into suitable retaining area. Small amounts of liquid spills may be
absorbed into an appropriate absorbent.

7 HANDLING & STORAGE
Handling
Use and store with adequate ventilation. Keep containers closed when not in use. Avoid inhalation. Do not take internally.
Avoid personal contact. Wash thoroughly with mild soap and water after handling. Should contact be made, remove
saturated clothing and wash affected areas. Wash clothes before reuse.

Keep out of reach of children and others not trained in safe use of this product.

Dispose of emptied containers in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. All hazard precautions given in this
data sheet must be observed when disposing of containers holding residual materials.

Storage
Keep containers cool, dry and away from ignition sources. See OSHA regulations (particularly OSHA 1910.106) for
information on flammables and combustibles.

Ventilation
Local exhaust preferred (particularly in curing area). General mechanical ventilation may be sufficient to keep product vapor
concentration within specific time-weighted TLV ranges. If general ventilation proves inadequate to maintain safe vapor
concentration, supplemental local exhaust may be required. Other special precautions such as respiratory masks or
environmental containment devices may be required in extreme cases.

8 EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION
Eye Protection: Personal Protection Equipments (PPE)
Safety glasses

Skin Protection: Personal Protection Equipments (PPE)
Neoprene
Protective clothing and footwear may be required to minimize skin contact.

Respiratory Protection: Personal Protection Equipments (PPE)
Not usually required. If exposure controls are required, use NIOSH approved cartridge respirator, or gas mask.

General
Eye bath, safety shower. Protective clothing and footwear may be required to minimize skin contact.
