SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE
(1) ACUTE OVEREXPOSURE
Ingestion of large quantities may cause symptoms of non-specific irritation of the gastrointestinal tract; nausea,
vomiting, cramps, and diarrhea. Eye and skin contact may result in local irritation. Inhalation of high concentrations
may result in upper respiratory tract irritation.
(2) CHRONIC OVEREXPOSURE
Inhalation of dust may permanently damage the lungs and result in the development of pneumoconiosis, silicosis, or
other respiratory disorders.

EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES
INGESTION: Induce vomiting immediately by giving two glasses of water and sticking finger down throat. Never give
anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a physician. EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush eyes with plenty
of water for at least 15 minutes, holding eyelids apart to ensure flushing of the entire surface of the eye and lids with
water. Obtain medical attention of irritation persists. Oils and ointments should not be used unless directed by a
physician. SKIN CONTACT: Immediately wash skin with soap and plenty of water. INHALATION: Remove to fresh air.
If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Call a physician.
