First Aid:
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Drink large quantities of water or milk. Seek medical
attention. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Eyes: Flush thoroughly with water. See a physician if irritation persists.
Skin: Wash thoroughly with water.
VII 鈥? SPILL, LEAK, AND DISPOSAL INFORMATION
Spill or Leak: Fully encapsulating, vapor protective clothing should be worn for spills and
leaks with no fire.
Do not touch or walk through spilled material.
Keep combustibles (wood, paper, oil, etc.) away from spilled material.
Stop leak if you can do it without risk.
Isolate area until gas vapor has dispersed.
Waste Disposal Method: Contaminated material should be disposed of in accordance with applicable
local, state, and federal regulations.
VII 鈥? SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION
Respiratory Protection: If mist concentrations exceed recommended PEL, use NIOSH approved
respirators with appropriate vapor canister such as N, R, P, or HE filter , until
feasible engineering controls are completed.
Ventilation: Local exhaust or other ventilation that will reduce dust concentrations less than
the recommended PEL.
Eye Protection: If high mist concentrations exist, tight fitting goggles are recommended to
reduce mist exposure to eyes.
Other Protective Equip: Chemical resistant footwear plus socks. Chemical resistant head gear for
overhead exposure. Chemical resistant and water proof gloves. Chemical
resistant apron when cleaning equipment, mixing, or loading.
