protective goggles to prevent eye contamination. Scrape up or collect spilled
material with a rag or other material, and put into clean, dry containers. Label
containers correctly. Ensure area is thoroughly ventilated before recommencing
work.
METHODS AND MATERIALS FOR CONTAINMENT AND CLEAN UP:
Refer to State Land Waste Management Authority. Empty containers must be
decontaminated. Normally suitable for disposal at approved land waste sites.

Section 7 鈥? Handling and Storage
PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING:
Wear protective goggles/face shield and rubber gloves and barrier cream to
prevent eye and skin contamination. Contact lenses pose a special hazard as they
may absorb irritants. Suitable protective clothing, PVC gloves and boots should
be worn. Use in a well ventilated area, preferably outdoors. General exhaust is
normally adequate. If risk of overexposure exists, wear air-supplied breathing
apparatus.
CONDITIONS FOR SAFE STORAGE:
Keep containers securely sealed when not in use. Avoid physical damage to
containers. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place out of direct sunlight, and
away from heat, spark and flame.

AIHA WEEL* 10ppm (TWA)
(*AIHA WEEL = American Industrial Hygiene Association 鈥? Workplace
Environmental Exposure Level)
BIOLOGICAL LIMIT VALUES: Not established for the product.
ENGINEERING CONTROLS: If used in limited ventilation, ensure adequate ventilation to maintain exposure
levels are kept below standards, by using a local exhaust. Keep containers closed
when not in use.

TOXICOLOGY INFORMATION:
No toxicity data is available for this product, however toxicity information for constituent ingredients are
stated below.
Methyl Ethyl Ketoxime (MEKO) 鈥? Decomposition product. Material will generate MEKO on exposure
to humid air gradually. Male rodents exposed to MEKO at high concentration throughout their
lifetime developed liver cancer, but relevance to humans is uncertain now. Please read detailed
information on MEKO below:
Skin Irritation: Causes mild irritation; can be absorbed through the skin
Eyes Irritation: Causes severe irritation
Acute Oral Tox: LD50(rat)=4ml/kg
Acute Inhalation Tox: LC50(rat)=?4.8mg/l/4Hr
Inhalation Tox: Shows narcotic action at high concentrations. May produce blood effects.
Skin Sensitization: Positive (guinea pig)
Neurotoxicity: High dose can produce transient and reversible change in neurobehavioural
function. No evidence of cumulative neurotoxicity was detected.
Carcinogenicity: Liver carcinomas were observed in a lifetime inhalation study (ca.2 years) in
which mice and rats were exposed. These carcinomas were statistically increased in males at MEKO
concentration of 375ppm. Relevance to humans is uncertain now.
Mutagenicity: Not considered mutagenic based on several in vitro and vivo studies. Other chronic
study; degenerative effects on the olfactory epithelium of nasal passages occurred in a
concentration related manner in males and females of mice and rats at MEKO concentration of 15,
75 and 375ppm.
HEALTH EFFECTS FROM THE LIKELY ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
INHALATION:
The vapour is harmful if inhaled, prolonged overexposure can lead to drowsiness, damage to the blood and
liver, and irritate the eyes, nose and throat.
INGESTION:
No information is available
SKIN: On direct contact uncured product or its vapour may cause slight irritation to the skin.
EYES: On direct contact uncured product or its vapour may cause slight irritation to the eyes.
