Appearance: Light to dark yellow liquid at room temp.
Odour: Musty, mild animal fat or feed based odour.

Melting Point: Variable, 20 to -20 掳C
Vapour Pressure, mm Hg: <5 @ 25 掳C

3. HAZARDS IDENFITICATION
POTENTIAL HEALTH
Swallowed: LD50>2000 mg/kg (rat)
Eye: Not classified as an eye irritant
Skin: Not classified as a skin irritant
Inhaled: No known problems, unless heated to produce
vapours or finely misted materials which may
irritate the mucous membranes causing
irritation, nausea and dizziness.
4. FIRST AID PROCEDURES
Swallowed: Rinse mouth with water, contact
physician. If gastro-intestinal symptoms
develop, contact physician. (Never give
anything by mouth to an unconscious
person).
Eye: Irrigate eye for a minimum of 15 minutes
with cool water, contact physician.
Skin Remove contaminated clothing, rinse
affected area with water and soap.
Inhaled: Remove victim from area of exposure,
seek medical attention if symptoms
persist.
ADVICE TO DOCTORS: Treat symptomatically.
5. PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
PERSONAL PROTECTION
Respiratory Protection: If vapours or mists are generated, wear
an approved respirator.
Eye Protection: Wear chemical goggles to protect eyes
from mist or splashing.
Handling Protective: Wear PVC coated gloves to protect skin
contact.
Protective Clothing: No need anticipated.
CONTROL MEASURES Handle in an area of adequate
ventilation.
6. STABILITY & REACTIVITY
General: The product is stable and hazardous
polymerization will not occur.
Incompatible Materials/Conditions: Strong oxidizing agents.
Hazardous Decomposition Products: Combustion produces carbon monoxide
and carbon dioxide.
Conditions to Avoid: Heat, sparks, open flame and other
ignition sources.
7. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

Extinguishing Media: Dry chemical, foam or carbon dioxide,
water spray (fog).
Other Precautions: Oil soaked rags should be stored in an
approved safety container or washed with
soap and water, then dried in a well
ventilated area to avoid spontaneous
combustion.
Firefighters should use self-contained
breathing apparatus to avoid exposure to
smoke and vapour.
8. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES SPILL CLEAN-UP PROCEDURES
Remove source of ignition, contain spilled material. Stop leak if possible. Pick up
small spills with absorbent media if necessary such as paper towels, 鈥淥il Dry鈥?, sand
or dirt. Recover large spills for salvage or disposal. Transfer to secure containers.
Wash hard surfaces with safety solvent or detergent to remove remaining oil film.
Greasy nature will result in a slippery surface.
9. SAFE HANDLING AND STORAGE INFORMATION
Store in closed containers between 10掳C and 50掳C. Do not puncture, drag or slide
container. Drums are not a pressure vessel, never use pressure to empty.
10. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS
Waste may be disposed of by a licensed waste disposal company. Contaminated
absorbent material may be disposed of in an approved landfill. Follow local, state
and federal disposal regulations.
