Gloves: Impervious (viton, nitrile) should be worn when handling this material.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Eye: Chemical safety glasses or full face shield.
Respiratory: An approved respirator is advised, if exposed to levels greater than the
exposure limit. Use either an atmosphere-supplying respirator or an air-
purifying respirator for organic vapours. Proper equipment for high
concentrations includes an atmosphere supplied, positive pressure demand,
self-contained or airline breathing apparatus.
Footwear: Oil/Chemical resistant.
Clothing: In confined spaces where risk of skin exposure is much higher, impervious
clothing should be worn.
Other:

Mechanical ventilation is recommended for all indoor situations to control fugitive emissions. Electrical
Engineering Controls:
and mechanical equipment should be explosion-proof.
Eliminate all sources of ignition, ground handling equipment. Avoid direct contact with material.
Leak and Spill Procedure:
Prevent spill from entering sewers or water courses. Contain and absorb with sand or inert material.
Remove and dispose of contaminated materials.
Consult local authorities.
