ROUTE OF ENTRY: Eyes, skin contact, inhalation, ingestion
EFFECTS OF ACUTE AND CHRONIC EXPOSURE:
EYE: Severe irritation, chemical burn likely. May cause permanent damage and possible blindness.
SKIN: Severe irritation, corrosive to tissue.
INHALATION: Mist may cause severe irriation to eyes, throat and upper respiratory tract.
INGESTION: May cause severe burns to mouth, throat, esophagus, and stomach, nausea, vomiting. Risk of stomach
perforation, convulsions, and coma.
PREVENTATIVE MEASURES
GLOVES: Gloves should be worn.
EYE PROTECTION: Safety glasses with sideshield
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: If excessive vapours or mists are generated, an approved respirator should be
used.
