EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE (Acute and Chronic)
Inhalation: May cause irritation of respiratory tract, inflammation of the lungs.
Ingestion: Burning in mouth and oesophagus, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea.
Eyes: Causes irritation to the mucous membranes of the eyes.
Skin: Will cause irritation. May cause burns, dermatitis.
PREVENTATIVE MEASURES
Steps to be taken upon release or spillage (including neutralizing): Sweep, scoop or vacuum discharged material. Flush residue.
Observe environmental regulations.
Waste disposal method: Neutralize with dilute acid and landfill solids according to local, provincial and federal regulations.
Handling and Storage Requirements: Store in cool, dry area away from acids. Prolonged storage may cause product to cake and
become wet from atmospheric moisture.
