APPEARANCE & ODOR

White crystals. Probable odor of H2S.



REACTIVITY & CONDITIONS TO AVOID

Slow decomposition especially when wet. Gives off vapor of Hydrogen Sulfide. Incompatible (perhaps violently) with

oxidizers.



FIRE HAZARDS

Flammable gas emitted upon heating. Highly toxic fumes. Firefighters wear SCBA.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

Wear goggles and rubber gloves while handling. Use only with adequate ventilation or suitable respirator.

Wash skin and eyes thoroughly with water. If eye irritation persists, get medical attention. If swallowed, give water or

milk and induce vomiting. See a physician. If unconscious, give oxygen and respiration as necessary, get immediately

medical assistance.



SPILLS & LEAKS

Wash up with water. Disposal to drain acceptable in most localities, check local regulations. Other disposal to solid waste.
