HEALTH HAZARDS
Irritating to skin, eyes and mucous membranes. The toxicological properties of this material have not been fully
investigated. OSHA PEL/ACGIH TLV not established. Gold compounds may cause bone marrow depression and kidney
abnormalities. No evidence of carcinogenicity.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
Wear goggles and rubber gloves while handling. Avoid all contact.
FIRST AID
Wash skin and eyes thoroughly with water. Get medical assistance if irritation persists. If ingested, give 2-4 cups of milk
or water, get medical attention. If inhaled, remove to fresh air immediately. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If not
breathing, give artificial respiration. Get medical attention.
SPILLS & LEAKS
Sweep up material for recovery. Unrecoverable material should be diluted with water and kept for disposal. Disposal of
small quantities to the sanitary drain may be permissible, consult local, state and federal regulations.
