EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
WARNING! Harmful if swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through the skin. Irritating to eyes, respiratory
system and skin. May cause allergic skin reaction. May cause adverse liver, kidney, and CNS effects. May
cause adverse cardiac effects. Adverse reproductive effects reported in animals.

POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS

INGESTION
Harmful if swallowed. May cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. May
cause central nervous system effects. May cause tingling and numbness in the hands and feet. May
cause pneumonitis as a result of aspiration. Liver and kidney injuries may occur. May cause
cardiopulmonary effects and possible hemorrhaging. May cause reproductive effects based on results
of animal studies.

SKIN
Harmful if absorbed through the skin. May be absorbed through the skin and contribute to the
symptoms listed under "Ingestion". Causes skin irritation. May cause skin defatting with prolonged
exposure. May cause allergic skin reaction.

INHALATION
Harmful if inhaled. Causes irritation of the mouth, nose, and throat. Symptoms of overexposure may
be headache, dizziness, tiredness, nausea and vomiting. May cause central nervous system effects.
May affect the heart and cardiovascular system. May also cause other effects as listed under
"Ingestion".

EYES
Irritation with redness, swelling, pain, and tearing.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES

INGESTION
Do NOT induce vomiting. To avoid aspiration should vomiting occur, have the person lean
forward. Immediate medical attention is required. If victim is conscious, give 2-4 glasses of water.
Never induce vomiting unless specifically directed by qualified medical personnel. Never give
anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

SKIN
Flush skin with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes until no evidence of chemical
remains. Wash with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation or symptoms from Section
3 develop.

INHALATION
Move to fresh air. If not breathing, begin artificial respiration using a barrier device. Because of
chemical properties, do not use mouth-to-mouth contact.

EYES
In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get
medical attention if irritation persists.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORAGE
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Avoid accidental ingestion of this
material. Wash hands and face before eating, drinking, smoking, using toilet facilities, or applying
cosmetics. Keep container closed when not in use. Keep away from children.

Store away from heat, sources of ignition, and incompatibles.

ENGINEERING CONTROLS
Showers; Eyewash stations; Ventilation and other forms of engineering controls are preferred for
