EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: A transparent liquid with a slight ammonia odor. May cause
Skin and eye irritation. May be harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through the

POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS:
EYES: May cause slight to moderate irritation.

Steps to be taken in case material is released or spilled: Isolate and flush area with
water and mop up.
Waste Disposal Method: Dispose of in accordance with local, state, and federal
regulations.

flames.

SPECIAL PROTECTION INFORMATION

Use NIOSH approved mist respirator where spray occurs. Use of rubber gloves and
chemical goggles is recommended.

Good industrial hygiene practice requires that employee exposure be maintained below
the recommended TLV. This is preferably achieved through the provision of adequate
ventilation where necessary. Where mist cannot be controlled in this way, personal
respiratory protection should be employed.
