ensure vomitus is not aspirated. Obtain medical attention. Never give
anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing victim.
INHALATION: Move patient to fresh air. Apply oxygen or artificial respiration if
required. If breathing difficulties or distress continues obtain medical
attention.

Use process enclosure, local exhaust ventilation or
other engineering controls if misting occurs.
PROTECTIVE GLOVES: Suggest rubber or viton.
EYE PROTECTION: Suggest safety glasses with side-shields, chemical
goggles and/or face shield. Do not wear contact
lenses.
OTHER PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT Suggest rubber apron. Ensure eye wash station and
(Specify): safety shower are available.

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORING

Avoid prolonged or repeated skin contact. Minimize breathing vapour or mist. Remove
contaminated clothing; launder or dry-clean before reuse. Remove contaminated shoes and
thoroughly clean before reuse. Cleanse skin thoroughly after contact, before breaks and meals and
at end of work period. Product is readily removed from skin by washing thoroughly with soap
and water. Store in cool and dry location away from incompatibles. Keep container closed when
not in use. Protect from freezing. Freezing will affect the physical condition of the product and
may damage the material. If frozen, the product should be allowed to thaw completely and be
thoroughly mixed before use. This product should be stored in a heated building at a temperature
of 5-35 C. When stored under these conditions the product has a shelf life of approximately six
(6) months. Ensure that stock is rotated.

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE THE MATERIAL IS SPILLED OR RELEASED

Wear appropriate safety equipment. Eliminate sources of ignition. Stop leak if able to do so
without risk. Dike to prevent spread of material. Collect liquid waste by vacuum to place in an
approved container for disposal. Soak up remaining spill and small spills with absorbent material.
Collect contaminated absorbent in an approved container for disposal. Wash spill site after
material pickup with soap and water.

WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD

Dispose in accordance with federal, provincial and local regulations. It is the responsibility of the
end-user to determine if material meets the criteria of hazardous waste at the time of disposal.
