PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORING
Dust generated in handling of this product can be explosive if sufficient quantities are mixed in air in which case
ignition sources should be avoided. Avoid prolonged or repeated breathing of dust and contact with eyes and skin.
Cleanse skin well after contact, before breaks and meals and at end of work period. Store in cool, dry area.
STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE THE MATERIAL IS SPILLED OR RELEASED
Sweep up dry and flush spill area with water. Avoid generation of dust. Collect uncontaminated material for
repackaging. Collect contaminated material in an approved container for disposal. Spills of dilute solutions may be
flushed with copious amounts of water, or alternatively, they may be absorbed with an inert material such as earth or
speedi dry and contained for disposal. The product or its solutions should not be allowed to enter waterways without
treatment. Spilled solutions can create a hazard because of their slippery nature.
WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD
Product should be disposed of in accordance with applicable federal, provincial and local regulations. It is the
responsibility of the user to determine if this material meets the criteria of hazardous waster at the time of disposal.
