3 Hazards Identification:

Contains expoxy-containing components. Observe data of manufacturer.

The classification is based on the safety data provided by the manufacturer of the crude resin in accordance with
the EC Safety Data Sheet.

4 First Aid Measures

- General information: Symptoms of intoxication may become evident after several hours only. Therefore
patient should remain under medial observation for at least 48 hours after the
accident
has occurred.

- Inhalation: Move the patient at once to fresh air and seek medical advice.
In case of unconsciousness turn patient’s body and head to stable side position.

- Skin contamination: Wash affected area with soap and water and flush with plenty of water.

- Eye contamination: Hold eyelids apart and immediately flush eyes with plenty of water.
Seek medical advice.

- Ingestion: If swallowed, call a physican immediately. Flush mouth with water and let patient
drink plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting.

5 Fire-fighting Measures

- Suitable extinguishing
media: CO2, extinguishing powder or water spray. In case of large fire use water spray
or alcohol foam.
- Unsuitable extinghuishing
media: Full water jet

- Special hazards: May generate toxic gases in case of fire or when exposed to high temperatures.

- Special protective
equipment: Firefighters should wear self-contained respirators.

- Other information: Use water spray to cool fire-exposed containers and to desperse vapors.
Residues from fire and contaminated water to be disposed of in accordance with
federal, state and local regulations.

6 Accidental Release Measures

- Personal precautions: Wear protective clothing. Keep away unprotected persons.

- Protective clothing: Gloves made from
chloroprene rubber (CR) minimum thickness: 0.700 mm
natural rubber (NR) minimum thickness: 0.792 mm
nitrille rubber, e.g. (NBR) minimum thickness: 0.420 mm
polyblend made from PE /EVAL minimum thickness: 0.070 mm
PVC mininum thickness: 1,305 mm

- Environmental precautions: Avoid penetration into sewerage, pits and cellars.

- Methods for cleaning-up: Admix with liquid absorbent (sand, sileceous earth, acid neutralizer,
universal neutralizer) and dispose of in accordance with
regulations.
Dispose of contaminated material as waste in acc. w. pt. 13.
Ensure adequate ventilation.

7 Handling and Storage

- Handling:

- Precautions for safe handling: Ensure adequate ventilation/exhausting at the workplace.
Handle and open container prudently.
- Precautions against fire and explosion: Provide for breathing units

Additional remarks: Because of its content of free 4,4´-Methylendianilin this product
has been ranked carcinogen in animal experiments.
