SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES:
For fires involving this material, do not enter any enclosed or confined fire space without proper protective equipment.
This may include self-contained breathing apparatus to protect against the hazardous effects of the normal products of
combustion or oxygen deficiency.

UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSIVE HAZARDS :
Extremely flammable. Vapor may travel considerable distance to source of ignition and flash back
SECTION V HEALTH HAZARD DATA
THRESHOLD LIMIT VALUE : 300 ppm 8 hour time averaged
PRIMARY ROUTES OF ENTRY :
EFFECT OF OVEREXPOSURE :
EYES : May cause moderate eye irritation and moderate corneal injury. Vapors may irritate eyes.
SKIN CONTACT : Prolonged exposure not likely to cause significant skin irritation. May cause drying or flaking of skin.
SKIN ABSORPTION : A single prolonged exposure not likely to result in the material being absorbed through skin in harmful
amounts. The LD50 for skin absorption in rabbits is 20,000 mg/kg.
INGESTION : Single dose oral toxicity is low. The oral LD50 for rats is greater than 6,000 mg/kg.
No hazards anticipated from ingestion incidental to industrial exposure.

EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID TREATMENT:
EYES : Irrigate with flowing water immediately and continuously for 15 minutes. Consult medical personnel.
SKIN : Wash off with flowing water or shower.
INHALATION : Remove to fresh air if not breathing, give mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Call a physician.
INGESTION : Induce vomiting if large amount are ingested. No specific antidote. Supportive care.
Treatment based on judgment of the physician in response to reactions of the patient.
