ignition sources. Cleanup personnel must be thoroughly
trained in the handling of hazardous materials, and must
wear protective equipment and clothing sufficient to prevent
inhalation of dust or fumes, and contact with skin and eyes.
If dust is present, use non-sparking tools. Mix with inert ab-
sorbent, gather up in a manner that does not generate dust,
and collect in suitable containers for reclamation or disposal.
Wash the site thoroughly with water and detergent.
Waste Disposal: Follow all federal, provincial and local
regulations for disposal.
Handling Procedures and Equipment: Workers must be
thoroughly trained in the hazards of this substance and its
safe use, and must wear appropriate protective euqipment
and clothing. Use routine safe handling procedures. Use
the smallest amount possible for the purpose, in an area
with adequate ventilation. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on
clothing. Avoid breathing dust. Presence of dust can be an
explosion hazard. If dust is present, use non-sparking tools,
and ground and bond containers where static electricity may
be generated. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Storage Requirements: Store in suitable, labelled contain-
ers, in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, out of direct sunlight
and away from incompataible materials. Keep containers
tightly closed when not in use and when empty. Protect
from damage.

FIRST AID MEASURES
Specific Measures:
Eyes: Flush eyes thoroughly with gently running water,
holding eyelids open while flushing, for five to ten (5-10)
minutes, or until no trace of chemical remains. Get medical
advice if irritation develops.
Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Brush or wipe off dry
material. Flush skin with plenty of running water until no evi-
dence of chemical remains. If irritation develops get medical
attention.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Give oxygen and get
medical attention for any breathing difficulty.
Ingestion: If the victim is alert and not convulsing, rinse
mouth thoroughly with water and give 2 to 4 glasses of wa-
ter to drink to dilute. If victim feels unwell, or if a large
amount has been ingested, get medical attention.
