Ingestion: Evidence suggests low toxicity potential due to poor skin absorption.

Eye: May cause irritation.

EMERG ENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES:

INHALATION: Rem ove from area o f exp osure. If no t breathing , give artificial respiration. If breathin g is difficult, giv e oxyge n.
Get imm ediate medical attention.
INGESTION: If swallowed and victim is fully conscious, induce vomiting imm ediately by giving two glasses of water and sticking
finger down throat. Get imm ediate medical attention.
SK IN: In case of contact, immediately wash with soap and plenty of water for at least 5 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and
shoes. Thoro ugh ly clean co ntam inated clothing and shoes before reu se. Get m edical attention if irritation develops of persists.
EYES: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes using an eyewash fountain. Lift upper
and low er lids and rinse well under them . Get m edical attention if irritation develops or persists.

as this may cause a fire. Ventilate area. Wash spill area after material pickup is complete.

Respiratory Protection: In dusting conditions, use a NIOSH/MSHA approved dust mask.
Ventilation: Provide adequ ate ventilation. U se local exh aust as need ed to m aintain airborne exposure below control lim its.

IX SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

Precautions to Be Taken in Handling and Storage: Store in a cool, dry place in tightly closed containers. Air and mo isture
sensitive. Store away from oxidizers and other materials listed under incompatibility. STORE UNDER ARGO N OR OTHER INERT
ENV IRONM ENT . Avoid breathing dusts. Avoid direct or prolonged contact with skin and eyes. Wash hands thoroughly after
hand ling. Do not rub eyes w ith soiled han ds.

Other Precautions: Avoid creating dusts as this product, like most materials in powder form, is capable of creating a dust explosion.

Wo rk Practices: Do not sto re, use, and/or co nsume foods, be verages, tobacco products, or cosm etics in areas w here this m aterial is

stored. Wash hands and face carefully before eating, drinking, using tobacco, applying cosmetics, or using the toilet. Wash exposed
skin p rom ptly to rem ove accid entally splash es of contact with this m aterial. M aintain a sink, safety show er and eyewash fo untain in
the work area. Have oxygen readily available.
