SECTION 5 - HEALTH INFORMATION
PRIMARY ROUTES OF EXPOSURE AND TARGET ORGANS

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE
(1) ACUTE OVEREXPOSURE
Ingestion of latge quantities may cause symptoms of non-specific irritation of the gastrointestinal tract; nausea,
vomiting, cramps, and diarrhea. Eye contact may result in irritation and reversiable corneal effects. Skin contact
may result in local irritation. Inhalation of high concentrations may result in upper respiratory tract irritation.
(2) CHRONIC OVEREXPOSURE
Inhalation of dusts may permanently damage the lungs and result in the development of pneumoconiosis, silicosis,
or other respiratory disorders.

EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES
INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs spontaneously keep airways clear. Never give anything by
mouth to an unconcoius person. Call a physician. EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush eyes with plenty fo water for
at least 15 minutes, holding eyelids apart to ensure flushing of the entire surface of the eye and lids with water.
Obtain medical attention if irritation persists. SKIN CONTACT: Immediately wash skin with soap and plenty of
water. Remove contaminated clothing and footwear. Wash clothing before reuse and discard footwear which
cannot be decontaminated. Seek medical attention. INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give
artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Call a physician.
