II HEALTH HAZARD DATA
Health Effects:
No adverse health effects are expected if this product is used in accordance with the label.
Chronic: Animal studies show no evidence of oncogenic effect, no evidence of carcinogenic effects and no
teratogenic potential.
Delayed effects: Repeated overexposure to the active ingredient in this product may cause liver damage.


Acute Effects:
Skin: Prolonged or repeated exposure will cause irritation.
Eye: Direct contact will cause irritation.
Inhaled: Inhalation of vapour or mist can cause irritation of nose and throat.
First Aid: If poisoning occurs contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. Seek medical advice if
effects persist after first aid treatment.
Swallowed: Give 2 glasses of water to drink. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Skin: Remove patient始s clothing and wash skin thoroughly with soap and water.
Eye: Irrigate eyes immediately with water for 15 minutes. Consult a physician if irritation persists.
Inhaled: Remove patient to fresh aid.

Advice to doctor: If swallowed, careful evacuation of the stomach is advisable.

Antidote: none known

III PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Exposure Standards:

NOHSC exposure standards have not been assigned to the active ingredient now the excipients in the
formulation except ethylene glycol.
NOHSC exposure standard for ethylene glycol is 60 mg/per cubic metre (TWA and 120 mg/per cubic metre
(STEL).

Engineering Controls:

Use local exhaust ventilation with a minimum capture velocity of 150 ft/min (0.75 m/sec.) at the point of
vapour evolution. Refer to Australian Standards AS 1668.

Personal protection:

Personal Protective Measures:
Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing during mixing/pouring operations. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Do not inhale spray mist.

Respiratory Protection:
A respiratory protection program meeting AS1716 and AS1715 requirements must be followed whenever
workplace conditions warrant a respirator始s use. None required if airborne concentrations are maintained
below the exposure limit listed in the Exposure Standards Information Section.

Personal Protective Equipment:
Up to 10 times the TWA/TLV: Wear an Australian Standards approved (or equivalent) half-mask, air-
purifying respirator.
Up to 1000 ppm organic vapour: Wear an Australian Standards approved (or equivalent) full facepiece, air-
purifying respirator.
Above 1000 ppm organic vapour or unknown: Wear an Australian Standards approved (or equivalent) self-
contained breathing apparatus in the positive pressure mode or Australian Standards approved (or
equivalent) full facepiece airline respirator in the positive pressure mode with emergency escape provisions.

Air-purifying respirators should be equipped with an Australian Standards approved (or equivalent) cartridges
for protection against pesticides.
Eye protection:
Use safety glasses (AS 1337 or approved equivalent).
Hand protection:
Chemical-resistant gloves should be worn whenever this material is handled. The gloves(s) listed below may
provide protection against permeation. Gloves of other chemically resistant material may not provide
adequate protection: - Butyle rubber. Gloves should be removed and replaced immediately if there is any
indication of degradation or chemical breakthrough. Rinse and remove gloves immediately after use. Wash
hands with soap and water. Use chemically resistant apron or other impervious clothing to avoid prolonged
or repeated skin contact.
Industrial Hygiene:
If clothing becomes contaminated with product or wet with spray, remove clothing immediately. If product or
spray on skin, immediately wash the area with soap and water. After use and before eating, drinking or
smoking, wash hands, arms and face thoroughly with soap and water. After each day始s use wash
contaminated clothing, gloves etc, with detergent and water.

Flammability
Protection Against Fire:
Product is stable. Not flammable under normal conditions of use. Avoid strong oxidising agents.

IV SAFE HANDLING INFORMATION
Storage & Transport:
Do not store this material near food, feed or drinking water. The minimum recommended storage
temperature for this material is 0 degrees C. The maximum recommended storage temperature for this
material is 50 degrees C. Store in a dry area. Store out of direct sunlight in a cool place.

Spills:
Appropriate protective equipment must be worn when handling a spill of this material. See Precautions for
Use/Personal Protection.
Prevent spill from spreading or entering waterways or drains. Take up with absorbent material such as
sawdust, peat or binding agent for chemicals. Fill material along with any contaminated soil etc, into
sealable containers. Clean affected area with an aqueous detergent and a small amount of water. On
completion of clean-up remove and wash all protective clothing and equipment with detergent and water.
Any heavily contaminated clothing should be placed in a plastic garbage bag and placed in a sealable drum.
Do not smoke, eat or drink during clean-up operation.

Disposal:
1) After intended use:
Rinse container before disposal. Add rinsings to spray tank. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on site.
Dispose of at a local authority landfill. If not available, bury the container below 500 mm in a disposal pit
specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of waterways, vegetation and roots. Empty containers
and product should not be burnt.

2) After spill or accident:
Dispose of sealed containers at an approved local waste disposal site.
