Appearance/Odor: Light brown powder; mild odor.

CAUTION: Di(2-ethylhexyl) Phthalate may cause cancer based on animal data; risk of cancer depends on duration
and level of exposure. The relevance to potential human cancer is unknown. DEHP is considered an IARC 2B
carcinogen: Possible human carcinogen, human evidence inadequate, animal evidence sufficient.

Potential Health Effects
Skin Contact: Repeated or prolonged skin contact may cause burns or irritation.
Eye Contact: Avoid contact with eyes, will cause irritation.
Ingestion: Substance may be harmful if swallowed. May irritate mouth, throat and stomach.
Inhalation: May cause dizziness.

Section 4 - First Aid Measures

Skin Contact: Wash affected skin with soap and water. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist.
Eye Contact: Flush eyes with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists,
consult a physician.
Ingestion: Seek medical advice.
Inhalation: Person should be moved to a fresh air environment.

Section 6 - Accidental Release/Spill Procedures

Steps to be Taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled: Dike and contain the spill with inert material (i.e., sand,
earth, sawdust) and transfer solid diking material to separate containers for recovery or disposal. Wash floor area with
hot water solution. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Wash affected skin areas with soap and
water. Keep spills out of all sewers and bodies of water.

Section 7 - Handling and Storage

Any use of this product in an elevated process should be evaluated to establish and maintain safe operating
procedures.

Containers should be kept tightly closed and stored in a dry well-ventilated place.

Precautions to be Taken in Handling and Storing: Material may ignite when exposed to conditions of high heat.
Avoid open flames and excessive heat.

Hand Protection: Neoprene or Viton gloves
Eye Protection: Safety Goggles

should be worn.
Engineering Measures: For normal operation, local exhaust ventilation should suffice.
Other: Long sleeve shirts, long pants, and protective creams on exposed skin. Eyewash facility
in vicinity.
