Section 3 - Hazards Identification

Emergency Overview: A Tan Liquid product. WARNING! Causes eye, skin, nose, throat, lung and respiratory
tract irritation. Harmful or fatal if swallowed. This product contains ethylene glycol.

Refer to other MSDS sections for other detailed information.

Effects Of Overexposure - Eye Contact: May cuses eye irritation.

Effects Of Overexposure - Skin Contact: May cause skin irritation. Prolonged or repeated contact with skin
may cause irritation.

Effects Of Overexposure - Inhalation: Vapors may be irritating to eyes, nose, throat, and lungs.

Effects Of Overexposure - Ingestion: Harmful or fatal if swallowed. Ingestion of ethylene glycol can cause
gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and if ingested in sufficient quantities, death. If ingested, may
cause vomiting, diarrhea, and depressed respiration. Aspiration of material into the lungs due to vomiting can
cause chemical pneumonitis, which can be fatal.

Effects Of Overexposure - Chronic Hazards: Overexposure may cause kidney, cardiovascular, skin and liver
damage. Prolonged or repeated contact with skin results in irritation and dermatitis. Studies have shown that
repeated inhalation of ethylene glycol has produced adverse cardiovascular changes in laboratory animals.
Ethylene Glycol may cause kidney and liver damage upon prolonged and repeated overexposures. Ethylene
glycol has been shown to cause birth defects in laboratory animals.

Primary Route(s) Of Entry: Skin Contact, Skin Absorption, Inhalation

Medical Conditions which May be Aggravated by Exposure: None known.

Section 4 - First Aid Measures

First Aid - Eye Contact: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
Get medical attention immediately.

First Aid - Skin Contact: Wash off with soap and water.

First Aid - Inhalation: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is
difficult, give oxygen. Get medical attention immediately.

First Aid - Ingestion: If swallowed, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Get medical attention immediately.

Note to Physician: No Information.

COMMENTS: Call Medical Emergency at 1-800-327-3874 if any irritation or complication arise from any of the
above routes of entry.

Section 5 - Fire Fighting Measures
Flash Point, F: >212 Lower Explosive Limit, %: Not Established
Method: ( Seta Closed Cup) Upper Explosive Limit, %: Not Established

Extinguishing Media: Carbon Dioxide, Dry Chemical, Foam, Water Fog

Unusual Fire And Explosion Hazards: None known.

Special Firefighting Procedures: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand (NIOSH approved
or equivalent) and full protective gear. Use water spray to cool exposed surfaces.

Section 6 - Accidental Release Measures

Steps To Be Taken If Material Is Released Or Spilled: Wear proper protective equipment as specified in
Section 8. Wet dried material before scraping up and place into containers.

Section 7 - Handling And Storage

Handling: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN! Provide fresh air such that chemical odors cannot be
detected during use and while drying. Avoid breathing vapors. Use in well ventilated area. Do not sand, dry
sweep, dry scrape, drill, saw, beadblast, mechanically chip, pulverize or otherwise machine existing resilient
flooring, backing, lining felt, or asphaltic "cut-back" adhesives. These products may contain either asbestos fibers
or crystalline silica. Avoid creating dust. Inhalation of such dust is a cancer and respiratory tract hazard. See
current edition of the Resilient Floor Covering Institute's publication. "Recommended Work Practices for Removal
of Resilient Floor Coverings", for detailed information and instructions addressed to the task of removing all
resilient floor covering materials. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Construction and repair activities can
adversely affect indoor air quality. Consult with occupants or a representative (i.e. maintenance, building
manager, industrial hygienist, or safety officer) to determine ways to minimize impact. Wash thoroughly after
handling.

Storage: Store containers away from excessive heat and freezing. Keep containers tightly closed. Store away
from caustics and oxidizers.

Section 8 - Exposure Controls / Personal Protection

Precautionary Measures: Please refer to other sections and subsections of this MSDS.

Engineering Controls: Use only in well-ventilated areas. Provide sufficient general and/or local exhaust
ventilation to maintain exposure below recommended exposure limit.

Respiratory Protection: A respiratory protection program that meets the OSHA 1910.134 and ANSI Z88.2
requirements must be followed whenever workplace conditions warrant a respirator's use. Respirator use is not
expected to be necessary under normal conditions of handling. In emergency situations, use of a NIOSH-
approved respirator may be required.

Skin Protection: Wear rubber gloves.

Eye Protection: Goggles or safety glasses with side shields.

Other protective equipment: None.

Hygienic Practices: Remove and wash contaminated clothing before re-use. Although this product is not
considered and eye irritant, inhalation hazard, or a skin contact hazard under normal conditions, it is advisable
that personnel minimize shin contact, inhalation of vapors, and eye contact.
