3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
IMMEDIATE CONCERNS: This product is severely irritating to the eyes. This product is
irritating to the skin. Excessive inhalation of this material causes headache, dizziness, nausea, and
lack of coordination.

A component in this product may be absorbed through the skin in harmful amounts. Product contains
glycol ether which caused blood disorders in rabbits.
May cause temporary irritation of the throat, stomach, and gastrointestinal tract if ingested.
Inhalation of vapors or mists of the product may be irritating to the respiratory system. Excessive
inhalation of this material causes headache, dizziness, nausea and lack of coordination.
Pre-existing eye, skin and respiratory disorders may be aggravated by exposure.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES
EYES: Immediately flush eyes with water for at least fifteen minutes, while holding eyelids open.
Seek medical attention at once.

SKIN: Flush with large amounts of water. Seek the immediate medical attention.

INGESTION: If the material is swallowed, get immediate medical attention or advice -- do not
induce vomiting.

INHALATION: Immediately remove affected person to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial
respiration, preferably mouth to mouth. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Call a physician if
symptoms develop or persist.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
GENERAL PROCEDURES: Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Do not take internally.
Use this product with adequate ventilation. For industrial use only. 鈥淓mpty鈥? containers retain
product residue and can be dangerous. Do not pressurize, cut, weld, braze, solder, drill, grind, or
expose such containers to heat, flame, sparks, static electricity or other sources of ignition; they
may explode.

STORAGE: Keep container tightly closed and in a cool, well-ventilated place away from
incompatible materials.

8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION
ENGINEERING CONTROLS:
Ventilation should effectively remove and prevent buildup of any vapor or mist generated from the handling
of this product. Eye wash fountains and emergency showers are required.

PERSONAL PROTECTION
EYES AND FACE: Wear chemical goggles. Also wear face shield if splashing is possible.

RESPIRATORY: If ventilation is not sufficient, appropriate NIOSH/MSHA respiratory protection
must be provided.

PROTECTIVE CLOTHING: Wear hardhat, chemical goggles, slicker suit, solvent resistant rubber
gloves, and rubber boots.
