1. "TLV" means the Threshold Limit Value exposure (8 hour time-weighted average, unless otherwise noted) established by ACGIH. "OSHA PEL"
refers to the Permissible Exposure Limits for airborne contaminants as specified in 29 CFR 1900.1000.
2. "n/e" indicates that neither TLV nor OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit has been established.

3. HEALTH HAZARDS
Ingestion: Low oral toxicity for small amounts associated with industrial handling.
Inhalation: Inhalation of mist generated during working conditions may cause irritation.
Eyes: May cause moderate to severe eye irritation.
Skin: Moderate skin irritant
Effects of Chronic Overexposure: Chronic feeding studies with concentrated TEA and DEA have shown liver, kidney, and CNS
damage in rats and guinea pigs. Some liver and kidney effects have been seen in one study of rats subjected to prolonged, dermal
dosing.
Medical conditions that may be aggravated by exposure: None reported.


4. FIRST AID
Ingestion: Induce vomiting if large amounts are ingested. Give 2 glasses of water to dilute.
Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air.
Eyes: Flush with water for 15 minutes. Consult a physician.
Skin: Wash affected area with soap and water. Remove contaminate clothing.


5. FIRE HAZARD

Flammable limits in air: Lower - n/d Upper - n/d
Extinguishing Media: Water, CO2, Dry chemical
Special Firefighting Procedures: Use of chlorinated solvent fire extinguishers should be avoided.
Unusual Fire Hazards: Oxides of nitrogen may be generated in a raging fire. Full self-contained fire protection suits are
recommended.

Ventilation: Material does not give off hazardous vapors. If work conditions generate mist, ventilation (100 linear feet/minute) is
recommended.
