Potential Health Effects
Inhalation: High Concentrations of vapors may cause harmful effects. Symptoms usually occur at air
concentrations above the recommended exposure limits. May cause irritation to nose and throat.
Dizziness. Headache. Nausea.
Skin contact: May cause irritation due to defatting of the skin. Prolonged contact with skin may cause dermatitis. May
be harmful if absorbed through skin.
Eye contact: Direct spray or vapors will irritate and may harm eyes.
Ingestion: Ingestion causes irritation and effects similar to inhalation. If swallowed, may be aspirated into the
lungs resulting in inflammation and possible fluid accumulation.
Existing conditions aggravated by Other pre-existing skin conditions. Other respiratory disorders (bronchitis, emphysema, bronchial
exposure: hyperreactivity).

4. FIRST AID MEASURES
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical attention. If not breathing, give
artificial respiration.
Skin contact: Wash with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. If a person feels unwell or
symptoms of skin irritation appear, consult a physician.
Eye contact: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting or give anything by mouth because this material can enter the lungs and severe
lung damage. Get medical attention immediately.

unsuitable as an extinguishing media, but may be helpful in keeping adjacent containers cool. Avoid
spreading liquid with water used for cooling purposes.
Unusual fire or explosion hazards: Vapors may accumulate in low or confined areas, travel considerable distance to source of ignition,
and flash back.
Hazardous combustion products: Oxides of carbon. Irritating organic vapors.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Environmental precautions: Do not contaminate surface water. Assure conformity with applicable government regulations.
Clean-up methods: Spilled liquid is combustible and can be ignited by heat, flames, sparks, or other sources of ignition.
Vapors are heavier than air and may travel along the ground or be moved by ventilation and
subsequently ignited by heat, pilot lights or other ignition sources at locations distant from the material
handling point. Remove all ignition sources. Maintain good ventilation for large spills. Evacuate and
ventilate spill area; dike spill to prevent entry into water system; wear full protective equipment during
clean-up. Spilled material will solidify.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Handling: Keep container closed. Use only with adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.
Avoid breathing vapor and mist. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not wear contact lenses. Keep out
of the reach of children. Vapors will accumulate readily and may ignite explosively.
Storage: Keep in a cool, well ventilated area away from heat, sparks and open flame. Keep container tightly
closed until ready for use.
Incompatible products: Oxidizing and spontaneously flammable products. Strong acids or bases. Amines.

Engineering controls: Provide local ventilation for prolonged use in a confined area. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear
suitable respiratory equipment.
Respiratory protection: In case of insufficient ventilation wear suitable respiratory equipment. Use a NIOSH approved air-
purifying respirator with an organic vapor cartridge.
Skin protection: Permeation resistant gloves (butyl rubber, nitrile rubber, polyvinyl alcohol).
Eye/face protection: Chemical splash goggles or safety glasses with side shields. Full face protection should be used if the
potential for splashing or spraying of product exists. Do not wear contact lenses when handling this
product.

12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Ecological information: No specific studies have been conducted by Henkel on the ecotoxicity or environmental fate of this
material; however, commonly available data on the material indicate that uncontrolled releases to soil,
groundwater, or surface waters could entail acute and/or chronic ecological effects, depending on the
quantity and concentration of such releases. Releases of volatile components to the atmosphere are
not believed to entail significant ecological consequences provided such releases are within the
exposure levels set forth in this document. Accordingly, all appropriate measures should be taken to
avoid uncontrolled releases to the environment, and any spills or other uncontrolled releases which
may occur should be contained and cleaned up immediately in accordance with Section 6.
