Ingestion: If large quantity swallowed, give two glasses of water (pint/0.5 liter) if victim completely
conscious/alert. Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do by medical personnel. Seek medical
attention if symptoms develop. Provide copy of MSDS to medical personnel.
Eye Contact: Flush with water to remove. Seek medical attention if irritation or discomfort persists.

5. Fire and Explosion Data

Flash Point (Method Used): NAP
LFL = NAP UFL = NAP
Flammable Limits:
Extinguishing Media: Foam, dry chemical, and carbon dioxide.
Autoignition Temperature: NAP
Special Firefighting Procedures: Self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing should be
worn in chemical fires. Water may be ineffective, serving only to spread product, but may be used to
cool containers.
Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards: The wet ink is not flammable. The bulk of the ink will not burn.
If heated to dryness, the remaining organic polymers and pigments, although difficult to ignite, will
burn as a class III B fire. It is recommended that containers be tightly closed and isolated from heat,
electrical equipment, and flame. A closed container could possibly explode when exposed to
extreme heat.

6. Accidental Release Measures

Steps to be Taken In Case Material Is Released or Spilled: Dike and contain spill with absorbent
material such as clay or commercially available material. Place material in container for disposal.
Wear safety glasses and chemical resistant gloves to minimize exposure.

7. Handling and Storage

Precautions to be Taken In Handling and Storage: Follow standard industrial practices when handling
this product or empty containers. Avoid getting product on skin, eyes, or clothing. If contact with the
product occurs, remove effected clothing and wash with soap and water. Store in a cool, dry, well
ventilated area away from incompatible materials. Avoid excessive hot or cold temperatures. Keep
containers tightly closed when not in use.

8. Exposure Control Measures, Personal Protection

Personal Protective Equipment:
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION 鈥? Under normal conditions of use, respiratory protection is not required.
If a fog or mist is produced, use NIOSH/MSHA approved respirator with organic vapor absorbing
cartridges. The respirator program must comply with OSHA and ANSI standards.
EYE PROTECTION 鈥? Chemical safety glasses recommended.

8. Exposure Control Measures, Personal Protection (cont鈥檇.)

PROTECTIVE GLOVES 鈥? Chemically resistant gloves are recommended.
OTHER PROTECTIVE CLOTHING OR EQUIPMENT 鈥? Eye wash station.
WORK/HYGIENE PRACTICES 鈥? Wash hands before eating, drinking, smoking, and at the end of the
shift.
Ventilation:
LOCAL EXHAUST 鈥? Provide local exhaust as needed so that exposure limits are met.
MECHANICAL (GENERAL) 鈥? Provide general ventilation in processing and storage areas so that
exposure limits are met.
SPECIAL 鈥? None

11. Toxicological Information

Toxicity Data: None available for product in purchased form.
Components: None available for acrylic resin.
Target Organs: NAV

12. Ecological Information

Environmental Fate: The wet ink is water soluble and highly colored. Small amounts of inks are easily
observed in water. However, except for the obvious coloration, there is little change in the water
quality. Aquatic toxicity is very low. Dry ink exposed to water will slowly leach color with the same
result as above. Because the acrylic is chemically stable and non-toxic, it does not degrade into
harmful products. This product in purchased form has not been tested. However, the physical and
chemical nature of the product and toxicological data on ingredients indicate that this product is of
relatively low risk.
Environmental Toxicity: Non available for product or components.

13. Disposal Considerations

Waste Disposal Method: Check with your local sewer authority before disposing to sewer. This
material is not a RCRA hazardous waste. Due to liquid form, this product may be determined to be a
鈥渟pecial鈥? waste. Dispose of material in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.

14. Transport Information

applicable definitions, to meet the following categories:
An immediate (acute) health hazard Yes
A delayed (chronic) health hazard No
A fire hazard No
A reactivity hazard No
A sudden release hazard No
FDA: This product complies with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements found in 21 CFR
