HEALTH HAZARDS

May be irritating to skin, eyes, mucous membranes, especially if concentrated. Inhalation may

cause throat and lung damage. Toxicity is not the main hazard from the material. LC 50 (inh-rat)

3124 ppm HCl (1 hour); LD 50 (oral-rat) 900 mg (HCl)/kg.       OSHA TLV/ACGIH PEL: 5 ppm HCl

(ceiling). No evidence of carcinogenicity.
